It’s a semi nice lil spot but could use some HEAVY renovations. The crowd is older so I’m all for that the drinks are on point. However, on my last visit I was at the bar & I accidentally spilled my drink, while trying to pay, and the bartender informed she could remake it but there would be a $10 surcharge (mind you there is no signage of any kind around the bar stating this 🙄)to do so and that was on top of what the first drink cost plus the rest of my order. All I could do was laugh because I’d never heard of something so made up in my life, and for context I have over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and I hold two degrees in culinary and hospitality management as well. So I guess common curiosity & customer service isn’t in the bartender employee handbook. I allowed her to remake it of course and paid the EXACT amount she asked as she stood there waiting for what could have been a tip I walked away. Please teach your bartenders proper customer service techniques and that common courtesy goes a long way.
