Maui gets a 4 star and not 5 because of the service hours. 6 pm closing time is simply not accommodating to the average customers that get off work at 5, have dinner 5, or get their weekend evenings socializing and enjoying delicious food at 5. The fact that Maui stops taking orders at 5 pm and they close at 6 pm is a double bomber. Yes, extended service hours just make better sense...

Ordered fried okra and they were dried and hard as a rock. ordered fried green tomatoes and they were see through thin and salty as heck. Spoke with owner Rod he suggested I bring the food back, and he suggested I tell the staff to not to add salt. Never again

Excellent place if you are needing a break from buying your meats in commercial stores. This is my go to for eating fresh (fish, seafood, et al.) can’t go wrong - very satisfied with everything. Finally, extremely easy to get to and plenty of parking. God’s blessings for continued success in all business endeavours ????

Will never, EVER return again!! The nasty attitude begins at the head(Owner)and has spread to the employees. I guess having a nasty attitude and terrible customer service skills are a qualification to be hired here! I gave this establishment the benefit of the doubt, being it’s black owned and 1 of the only to sell fresh fish! Sad to say, I would rather patronize the Arabs or go to Schnucks! Of the few times I’ve TRIED to patronize this place, I’ve probably had 1 positive experience. The food always tastes different because there’s always a different cook. The fat lady that works in there is the nastiest, most miserable person I’ve ever encountered! The cook was handling raw fish, writing down orders, and answering the phone with the SAME gloves on! NEVER gotta worry abt me patronizing you ever again!
