Spanky's is a great spot to have a beer and something to eat as you speed through Illinoise. No one knows who Spanky was or is and theres lots of theories claiming wild stuff. One guy told me Spanky was actually Andre Iguodala (Golden State Warriors) but still came here after games to hang with locals. One woman thought he was an alien that came here to bring some joy to a fairly gnarly neighbourhood. Who really cares, the spirit of Spanky is what matters and the joy it brings...
