I was sitting down waiting to get my order and I had to wait 20-30 to get my drink! I was so upset that my grandpa wasn’t able to get his food on time!

The whole atmosphere is like you were visiting in Mexico. This restaurant has authentic Mexican food with servers. You walk through a Mexican grocery store to get to the restaurant in the back. They have a meat counter where you can order prepared food to cook at home.Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.

This place was amazing!! The enchiladas were the best I have had, my fiancé had a burrito the size of a football, the margaritas were delicious. Our server was super friendly and quick.

There's a difference between Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican food. There's a grocery store and meat market in the front of the store. As you walk through the store, you see authentic Mexican items. Keep going on you're in the restaurant. It tastes nothing like any of the restaurants in Fairview Heights, IL, or the neighboring area Mexican restaurants. Best food and service.

This place used to be great but something is off. The vibe was not good. I took someone there for their first time and it was not a great experience. The tables across from us and the floor were dirty the entire time and no one cleaned them. The service was mediocre at best. Both waitresses seem to be gone most of the time. Our waitress clearly seemed burnt out. Will be trying the local competition next time.

I drive 45 min to eat here . Food, service and atmosphere is excellent. Bring a wheel barrow to get your self out the door because you will be full. Proportions are very filling and it is hard to stop eating as food is prepared fresh . I have NOT found a menu item I don't like .

I ordered a Cadillac margarita and el pastor tacos with corn tortillas. It was all perfect with quick and friendly service. The bonus is that you can pick up essentials or treats on the way out!

Food wasn't that great. Took way too long to get our food and it was off the menu and it was not complicated. Made it clear when a couple came in and got their food as soon as we got ours but we were already sitting for 45 mins. Food wasn't fresh and rather cold but were being watched like a hawk to make sure we paid for it. Me and my family didn't complain but won't be back. The vibe was already set in stone from that. Imagine having to explain to young adults why this type of service was given to a place we bragged on. Me and my wife have been here plenty of times. They don't have the same cook. Menu changed for the worse as well. It is what it is though. Lesson learned. Go where you are wanted. $90+ of food purchased as well. Horchata was good that's about it.
