Let me say firstly that my husband and I have been driving an hour up from Bloomington to visit this winery for the last 2 years, at the very least every month. We LOVED it. Anytime my in laws, parents, friends and family stayed with us we took each and every person up there and they loved it too. My father loved it so much he looked everywhere in AZ for a bottle of red October, until I decided to order him one for his 60th birthday! I placed my order, and weeks passed, and it had never shipped. I must have sent 6 different emails to kickapoo, asking if they know when it will ship, or if I’ll receive a tracking number like the website said I would. I got told it would ship out on Tuesday, and after a week had past since Tuesday I finally emailed again. I’ll attach some of the screenshots of our message on this review. Let me be clear, the product and scenery of this place is awesome. However they do not care about their smaller customers, at this point it seems like they only care about their banquet customers. 18 days passed since I had ordered it, and it never even shipped, nor did they give me any updates like they said they would. My dads birthday passed and I’ll be finding something else to get him. We won’t be supporting them further.
The setting is beautiful. We ate on the large patio area and they were setting up for a wedding nearby, which looked very nice. The food was pretty simple (burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and some appetizers) but it was tasty. I paid the upcharge for fries with my burger and ended up wishing I got the chips. The chips looked homemade and the fries were OK, but nothing special. We got the sweet wine sampler and sangria. Both were good, with some standard options on the sampler along with some interesting surprises. This would be a nice place to go if you like to take a stroll before or after your meal. The vineyard is adjacent to the restaurant and the area, in general, seems very walkable.
Beautiful area and delicious wine.We had grilled cheese sandwich, ceasar salad, and chips. It was very good!
We LOVE Kickapoo Creek Winery! The employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome! We especially love the music on Friday nights. It is so relaxing to have a bottle of our favorite wine, "Dave", and listen to live music. Beautiful grounds to walk around as well. The food is outstanding!Their desserts are to die for! We loved the chocolate cake! Wonderful place to relax and have fun!
Best winery in 60 miles..My go to place to be on a weekend
Amazing place with some great people and great wine! We hosted a race here and had so much fun. The staff was awesome to work with and the runners loved the winery ? and the staff! They even catered an amazing breakfast for the runners! Keep it up guys!
A group of us went to the winery and listened to the band. We ate lunch and had a good time. Our waiter Christian was the best. He was very attentive and happy to be waiting on us. Some of the other waitresses also helped out and were very good. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. We will be going back!
Beautiful place! Good wine. Went here for 5K. Had a blast!
Staff was wonderful, wines were very good purchased 2 bottles. Very spacious winery with plenty of different seating areas. Walking paths and RV parking made for a very enjoyable evening.

Wow! Just had a great lunch there. Friendly staff and nice selection of wines. We'll be back for sure.
I've been to Kickapoo Creek Winery many times with my family and the personnel are the nicest people to deal with and make you feel at home. The food is awesome especially with there variety of wine. I love to go there and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and walk around the vinyard and lakes.
Beautiful place to spend an afternoon. The Norton wine is superb!

Traveling back home to Indiana from Iowa hauling a trailer with our sons truck on it and we love to hit a new winery when we see one. Kickapoo Creek not only had awesome wine they have awesome people who work there. Walking to our vehicle after some good food and wine guess what flat tire. With still over 200 miles to go. Low and behold Randy came to the rescue. Thank you thank you so much for you help it is so much appreciated. There is still good people out there to willing to lend a hand. Please management give Randy the praise he deserves. We will visit again our next trip to Iowa.
