My wife and I dined at 1818 on our stop in Edwardsville for the night. Though the decor and lighting don’t scream high-end steak, we were happily surprised with on of the best steaks we’ve had. \n\nWe travel a lot in the US and abroad and have a pretty discerning palate for a great ribeye. We were a party of 4 there to have dinner. They seated us in the bar at 5:00 p.m. they weren't seating anyone in the restaurant area.
We were at a high top in an extremely loud crowded area. We could not have a conversation.
