I dined at this location with my daughter on a busy Friday night. We rolled the dice hoping we could sit outside without a reservation and we could. We also could have sat at the raw bar. The hostess was super sweet and engaged in a conversation with my daughter.
Our waiter was also super sweet and he too made time to visit with us. He described two delicious off menu specials, one appetizer and one entree.
We ordered the beet salad special. It was phenomenal. It was actually the tastiest dish I've eaten in a restaurant in a long time. I wanted to lick my plate.
We both wound up ordering the same entree: Maine lobster roll with garlic fries. The lobster roll was delicious and loaded with lobster. The brioche toast to lobster ratio was perfect. The fry portion was huge. We could have split the fries. The fry sauce was so good that I didn't have to be "that person" and ask for ketchup.
We topped off our meal by splitting a key lime pie colada slushy. The flavors change daily and the other choice was strawberry margarita slushy. It was so good and put us over the edge stuffed. But not so stuffed that we didn't stop at the cookie joint next door ?
I will definitely come back. I would like to bring my sister who has a gluten allergy because they have so many GF options.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options.

I took my son for an early dinner tonight. Having never been, I wanted us to experience some of the happy hour specials in addition to the meals that we chose.
The complimentary chips with the salmon dip was wonderful! We both loved the dip!!!!
Let me start by saying, my son does not like spicy foods. So when I saw the Sesame Tune Sliders had a Wasabi Aioli, I asked that it be removed. The waitress told us that she loves the sliders and that the Wasabi Aioli is not spicy there. The Sweet and Spicy slaw had jalapeno in it but we could pick that out. So we agreed to just have the slaw on the side and go with the sauce. WRONG! The Wasabi Aioli was spicy! My son proceeded to eat his slider but that dampened the experience.
He did try the Jumbo Lump Crab cake and stated that was fine but kept his distance from the slaw.
My son had the Lobster Ravioli for his main dish and stated that it was very good and very filling. (1818 Offshore, you redeemed yourself there.)
I had the Connecticut Lobster Roll. Absolutely delicious!

Reserved seats. It did NOT show in their system. Food was average...some below average. The I received spaghetti with no sauce, capers and onions. Crab legs were cold.
Campanella Chicken Pasta was good.

Delicious seafood dining experience. I appreciate that they have embraced the Offshore and feature a variety of seafood specialties with pride. They also have a selection of "turf" but the seafood is the centerpiece of everything. Starting with your choice of the raw bar, prepared seafood or the seafood tower appetizers is a great option. We went with the fried calamari. For an appetizer this was a very friendly serving size (enough for 3 or 4), tender with a crispy coating and a puttanesca sauce on the side. The batter was a bit on the salty side but balanced with the puttanesca. We went with the "surf" options for the main course. Swordfish piccata and pan seared scallops were perfectly prepared and presented. They have an amazing looking collection of unique side dishes if you have room, the spiced Brussels were tempting. Excellent service, quick and friendly but not rushed. A Reservation is highly recommended. A perfect dining experience. Our friends say the menu rotates on occasion so we are excited to come back and see what new deliciousness they come up with.

We had a wonderful experience, as always. The service was stellar and meal delicious. The only fly in the evening was witnessing another patron complain about bug flying into her food, after choosing to sit outside on a summer evening.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

I dined at 1818 Offshore in Edwardsville, hoping for a pleasant evening, but received an appalling experience instead. I ordered the mahi mahi fish tacos with fries. The fries were unbearably salty, and before I could eat more than a bite of my taco, a fly landed in my food. When I alerted the waitress, she insisted I still had to pay. The manager’s response? "You are sitting outside. What do you expect?" No apology, no offer to replace the meal—just a demand for payment for inedible food. This establishment has shown a shocking disregard for basic customer service. I won't be spending another dime here.

I’ve dined at this establishment on two seperate occasions, each time was spectacular. Andy was my waiter both times and he is amazing! Very attentive and accommodating.
For Drinks– we tried the House Pinot very crisp & grapefruit forward, the Pink Fashion a yummy strawberry lemonade cocktail and my personal favorite, the Melonita. It literally taste like you should be sitting poolside in Tulum, MX. 10/10.
For starters– Andy offered us a complimentary sample of the very delicious Salmon Spread and Old Bay chips. We also ordered the crab cakes and fried calamari. I’d give the appetizers a 7/10 overall.
For dinner– we tried a bunch of goodies and I’d highly recommend ALL! We got the crab legs, the Blackened Fish Tacos, the Filet Mignon and the Mediterranean Salmon.
We were celebrating a birthday so we also received an order of complimentary Beignets with chocolate sauce. Only place better would be Cafe Du Mond down in NOLA.
We cannot wait to go back and if you’re considering this place, I’d say go for it! You will not be disappointed!

I came for grilled oysters because I don't care for raw oysters but they were not grilled long enough. Tasted raw. Won't go back.

Usually when you order lobster macaroni and cheese you get 5/95 lobster/mac. That is not the case here! Was very pleasantly surprised by how much lobster they included. Service was good and their drinks were generous.

I reserved a room for my mother and her twin sister's birthday. The reservation was at 7:15 and our order for drinks wasn't taken until 7:45 and we didn't have our drinks until nearly 8:15. Our food came around 8:40, almost an hour and a half after arriving and only after I had a word with the manager about the disgraceful service. Our "supposed" waitress allowed us to go without water numerous times throughout the night: including while we had no other drinks for the first hour. I say "supposed" because we were being given water by a separate waitress or possibly busser that noticed we had no water as she went by. Eventually they just gave up on the water and left us with a small pitcher, for 8, to serve ourselves. I would avoid this place at all costs. While the food is admittedly good, it is ridiculously overpriced and the service is the worst I've seen in at least a decade. Management: if you're wondering why this place isn't doing as well as the other "1818" location, IT'S YOUR DISGRACEFUL SERVICE.

Our server, Andrew, was very knowledgeable about gluten free, and he gave my sister and me superb service.
