We were really looking forward to trying 1933 House of Bourbon, as we go out to local establishments every week and this one had been on our list since it opened. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing from the start.

The food excellent as well as the service. Great place for a business meeting
Overall poor experience. Went to celebrate a milestone birthday with family and figured we would give this place a shot. We had poor service and expensive mediocre food. Steaks were tough and overcooked. When reservations were made, we informed them it was for a birthday celebration. We brought a birthday cake and had a surprise $25 fee added to the bill. With all of the fine dining options in the Edwardsville/STL area, your money is better spent somewhere else.
