The food were absolutely delicious, I had the Steak with the Rub on it, OMG it was so good and you must try the Bread Pudding, it is so so good also. You will enjoy the drinks also.

Updated dinner menu, the staff is always so nice, & the food is amazing! I live nearby & they are especially helpful with to-go orders! I try something new & creative every time. Be sure to check out their highly underrated “spicy affair” Indian inspired lunch menu! I’ve never had a bad drink here either. 8 oz fillet was best steak and presentatiin I've had. Very tender thick cut steak cooked perfect medium rare on a caramelized onion with tomatoes. Baked Mac and cheese was good too.

It took an hour to get my first drink - a neat pour of whiskey. They were out of almost everything good on the whiskey menu. The waiter took 10-15 minutes between trips. He only had one other 2 top table and the restaurant was more than half empty. The whiskey prices were good, I liked that, but it doesn't matter if none of them are available. They should update their whiskey menu daily, or have a list the servers can memorize.That aside, the food was only ok. My wife's salad was 'wet' like the lettuce had been washed and put on the plate without being dried. The steaks were not cheap - close to fine-ish dining prices in Clayton, etc. The expectation for a $70 steak is that it will be cooked to the chosen temperature, and will be a choice cut, one or the other was untrue for every steak we had except one. The pork chop was overcooked and dry. The crab cakes had granny smith apples in them which had an odd sour flavor and texture to pair with the other contracting flavors. To finish on a positive note, all the mixed cocktails were very good.I am not sure if these issues at this price point were because this restaurant is in the middle of nowhere/lack of competition, or if this is a management is, but it was not the experience any of us were expecting.

I wanted to take a minute to share my experience with House of Bourbon! I had such a great experience with this establishment. To start we were greeted at our table by probably one of the best waitresses I have ever had, and second the most mouth watering steak I have definitely ever had in my life. Beth was the name of our server and she went above and beyond to make our experience the best! If you ever decide to try House of Bourbon you will not regret it and please, please ask for Beth!

I called ahead for reservations for the Party Room a week befor our date. Talked to a man who took my reservation and confirmed that I wanted "the party room”,We show up 20 minutes early and are told there was a computer glitch and we aren’t in the reservation list. The party room had a party already seated. They made a plsace for us us in the main dining area. Food was great, but very disappointed with not having our reservation honored we were told there was a computer glitch….not sure how that happened though when I talked to someone in at the establishment to make our reservations…..very disappointing!!!

We were seated in the bar area despite putting in the reservation, we didn't want to sit there. People were standing all around us. It was very cold and the door was constantly open, miserably cold the entire time. Our waiter was given a private room and several other large tables in addition to us so while we saw him running back and forth a lot, we got very little attention. My husband went and got our drinks off the bat after sitting for 20 minutes and when our food finally came it also was very cold. I went home hungry and cold and out over $200. We have the waiter $20 and told him to find a new place to work! Do not recommend!
Wonderful food and giant bourbon selection! Friendly service! Owners are very nice and welcoming! Reservations are recommended for the weekend as this popular place can fill up quick! This has become our new hangout for drinks, lunch, or dinner!
