Artisan is an amazing bakery/coffee shop in Edwardsville! It is locally owned by a hard working mother-son duo and you can tell as soon as you walk in! The food is amazing and so fresh. They get most of their main ingredients from local farmers or vendors.Not only is it a great place to read, eat and hang out, it's also a great place to work!!
The quality of baked goodies are the best in this area. Each selection is a little pricy but when you bit in, you'll understand the craftsmanship and love going into each pastry is worth coming here. For my favorite breads, I call an order in and know when to pick it up. Atmosphere is pleasant if you're dinning in. Everything is top quality. My only con is, early birds grab up the best and the shelves are slow to reload if they do at all. I recommend 222.
Artisan Bakery, “222” is truly a special place. There are so many choices and tasty offerings. We are partial to to the expertly made cappuccinos, croissants and perfect bagels, a Tuesday offering.But, what makes this place wonderful are the owners. Kim and Trevor have created a welcoming refuge. It’s comforting to see so many regulars who have become friends.
