Great food. I highly recommend. However, the sign outside is a horrible design. We drove passed it twice, using the GPS that was telling us we were right there. Drop the BREAKFAST and LUNCH and beef up your logo. You deserve it!

I absolutely love American Kolache and all of their delicious choices of Kolache yumminess! They have a flavor mix for everyone's palette from sweet to savory. The breakfast and BBQ kolaches are my favorites, but the folks working are always willing to give their favorites too if you're looking for something different to try or if you can't decide! This is a unique spot to get some super yummy munchies for lunch and breakfast that everyone will enjoy!

So yummy! An easy crowd pleaser breakfast with plenty of variety. The dough is fluffy and chewy and the fillings are yummy. The egg options could use a little seasoning, but that is my only complaint!

I love having American Kolache in Edwardsville. I pick up often for breakfast or lunch, and the workers are always friendly. I've brought some to the office for breakfast and its always a hit. My faves are buffalo chicken, sloppy joe, the american, sausage gravy, meatball and the cream cheese pastries.

AMAZING, UNIQUE, AVANTE GARDE. Cute little location with some epic "pastries" that should be mainstream by now. They're very much a European sandwich adjacent adaptation of Chinese Bao Buns, but instead of Char Siu there's more standard meats 'n veggies, in a bread bough bun instead of bao dough. SO FREAKING GOOD. I'll be regularly making a pilgrimage to the area. And the STAFF??? Better than the food! (No, but seriously, super kind and incredibly helpful!)

We live in Michigan. My husband was recently in Edwardsville for a weekend trip visiting some of our friends. He stubbled across American Kolache. He just knew it would be something I would be interested in. My sweet hubby waited until his last day there to buy some. He went there right when they opened in the morning and bought six different ones, warm, packed the box in a cooler to preserve their freshness and drove nine hours home to Michigan! And over the next couple of days, we enjoyed reheating them. Wow were they delicious. I've never heard of Kolache's before. We had all savory. My favorites of the six were the pizza and the sausage gravy! His favorite was the meatball! Looks like we have a Kolache place about an hour from us, but prob won't be anywhere near as good as American Kolache! I looked forward to visiting Edwardsville in the future and stopping by again!

I'm so happy this place exists. Today I couldn't have a full lunch, but I cannot go without food so I drove through and got 2 kolache to hold me until dinner. The meatball had really good flavor, and the raspberry cream cheese has always been my favorite. I think they may have changed it tho? It's perfect now! I would eat them every day.
