Loved our Turkish eggs and avocado toast so much we came back for an encore before leaving the area. Cafe Birdie is a wonderful cafe with delicious food, great lattes and pastries. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place! Loved it, food was great and fresh and it was such a comfortable little place to spend the morning. Loved their music that they played also, just really good vibes all around. We ordered tomato confet on a grilled baguette, chose gluten free bread and added a fried egg. It was amazing! And we also got the Hole In the Wall with a side salad. Was good as well especially the side salad, it was simple but very good.

We stumbled upon Cafe Birdie while passing through Edwardsville, and what a gem! Funny enough, it didn’t show up when we searched for coffee shops—it’s listed as a restaurant—but it immediately caught our attention as we drove by.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt special. The space has an energetic, welcoming vibe, clearly created with love. Classical music played softly in the background, the staff were warm and friendly, and the whole place just radiated positivity.

The food and drinks were excellent—fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a lavender lemon donut, the frittata of the day, a latte, an americano, and hot chocolates for our three daughters. Everything was made with care and stood out in quality.

For families, this place is especially wonderful. There’s a kid-friendly coloring station with big rolls of paper and markers, and they even display the children’s artwork along the wall near the restrooms—such a thoughtful touch! The patio is spacious and comfortable with fans and good airflow, making it a perfect spot to relax (even with our dog).

If you’re in Edwardsville and need a recharge, great coffee, or nourishing food, don’t miss Cafe Birdie. It’s a true hidden gem!

Cafe Birdie is an absolute gem! The food was beyond delicious — the Turkish egg dish was outstanding! The atmosphere is cute and quaint, and the owner couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming. She embraced our loud, joking group of women with open arms. We ordered a variety of dishes and loved every bite. Can’t wait to come back!

This place has some really nice lighting, nice vibe. The staff were very polite and conversational. The tomato confit was fantastic. They didn’t have the watermelon kombucha that I wanted to try unfortunately. Their French toast was pretty mid, too mushy, and the plate looked a little unappetizing. The blackberry matcha lemonade was really good too.

Delicious food and very nice outdoor area with shade and a misting fan. Four stars for service because food was very slow to come out and the line to order was slow as well.
