Fantastic experience. Great meal for three people. Service was very good and friendly. They had two very small mistakes and the only reason I even mention them is to say how quickly and courteously they fixed them. We drove over an hour to try them and would do it again! The girl making the cocktails did outstanding and our drinks were so well balanced. 10/10 would recommend and visit again. (Everyone needs their biscuits and jam in their lives!)
I met a group of friends here for happy hour. We shared the feta spread with fresh hot baguette, Brussels sprouts, shrimp egg rolls, tempura artichokes and mac n cheese. The feta spread was good but a little too spicy for some of our group, but everyone loved the fresh hot baguette. The Brussels sprouts were brown and crisp with a great flavor complimented with shredded parmesan. The tempura artichokes were an unexpected delight. The shrimp egg rolls were served cut in half diagonally....
The dishes are phenomenal, the ingredients fresh, the ambience always a delight. Chef Evan creates a truly magical dining experience, and Halstead’s cocktail game is the best in the Midwest. Added bonus: super cool staff.
