The food was quite good, but the service was disappointing. We were the only table in the entire restaurant, we expected better attention. The waitress checked on us only twice during the meal, and after we finished eating, we waited for a long time while she was chatting in the back. We eventually had to call her over to request the bill, and she even brought us the wrong check initially. Hopefully, the service can be improved in the future.
The atmosphere was alright, the room was dark. You get to choose where to sit after a waitress or waiter comes to meet you at the front. The door coming in was a bit confusing. I liked the ordering of food and wished they let us know more about specials if there were any. I enjoyed the Spicy Salmon Hand rolls more than anything else. I definitely found some others rolls to be alright but I won’t be getting again. The quality of the fish and just the texture of the sushi.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday tonight at the Drunken Fish in Edwardsville. This was our first visit. We had a wonderful time. We were greeted at the door by a pleasant young man who asked us our preferences on sitting area, then our waitress (Lexi) came right up after we were seated and took our drink order.
