The food is bad, the service is worse. It's easy to see why the Foundry Boat House shut down. I'm sure the downtown Edwardsville location won't be able to survive much longer unless they drastically change and fast.

Decided to go here for a graduation celebratory dinner. We have been here before and had a great time. The server felt uncomfortable serving a 22 and 23 year old with valid IDs. Kind of ruined the experience. We have been here multiple times before and both were served prior times. You should stay consistent if you are going to refuse service make sure you do it on every occasion not just once in a while. I usually order mock-tails when I eat here given I’m pregnant to fit in with family and friends. But I had no interest in ordering a full meal or drink after hearing the server. Stuck with water and something small to try and get out faster. Considering the only minor at the table was my 16 year old nephew it was an unusual experience to say the least. The guests who were refused service decided to go to Big Daddy’s for drinks. We are regulars there and should have just decided to eat there in the first place. Probably not coming back. You probably shouldn’t be in service if you can’t tell the difference between a fake ID and a real ID. Also I tried to call ahead to give them a heads up that a party of 9 was coming and my call was ignored. Should have been my first red flag. 😂 anywho better options in E Ville anyway. For the actual graduation dinner we have made other plans given our experience. The kitchen did great, at-least the food was good.

UPDATE: After looking at the reviews on Google and talking to others about our experience. This has happened plenty of times to other customers. Super disappointing and unusual. Please train your staff on how to properly check an ID. God forbid they get a foreign ID or passport the staff would have no clue what to do 😂 Decided to go here for a graduation celebratory dinner. Fun place. Food was great, and there was live entertainment on a Saturday afternoon. Also, beer!

Disappointed with the food. Pretzel chips were burnt black and oversalted. Ham a Lam sandwich cut of ham was too big of a cut. We were also sitted in the middle and could hear two different songs from the front and kitchen area. Would not recommend.

Acceptable food but nothing to brag about
Outside seating was nice. The waitress was useless and hated her job.

Good bar feel and great service, the food menu is innovative and pretty extensive for a Bar. The always friendly service and drinks make it for a great experience any night of the week. Touch tunes for your heart's musical desires and a clean and inviting atmosphere. Great for a weekend cap.

Waitress, food, and drinks were fantastic! However we did run in to an issue where the 20 yr Port wine we ordered (by the bottle!) it was actually 18$ per glass (according to waitress and bartender, but not menu). Bartender seemed very upset that we had concerns about this, however she removed it from our tab. Other than that, a great experience!

My family and I (party of 10 who called before arriving) went to dinner 9/14/24. We were seated immediately outside which was fine. We all ordered our food at the same time. The waitress seemed irritated. 4 of us received our food. 45 minutes later 4 more plates came. 15 minutes later the other 2 got their plates. There was no "I'm so sorry", or any kind of acknowledgement that this was not ok. The waitress never once came to see if we needed refills. When I asked to talk to the manager, the manager said she could take $6.00 off! It was the worst eating out experience I've ever had in my life. We will never be back.
