Oaxaca Margarita Bar & Mexican Restaurant

Food and service is top-notch Probably best mexican food in the area. The only complaint I have is passing along your credit card fees to your guest , all though it's not much. It seems very tacky for such a nice and busy establishment. A small sign in the entryway that no one is going to pay attention to until someone goes to pay the bill and sees a price different from the menu and the server or manager has to point it out is not the best of practices and you can tell they have to say it alot. Just work it into the price of the dishes. Other than that, great place.

Nice all around. I definitely would ask for the hot salsa is Bueno steak is seasoned and tender, but be careful on ordering a cheese sauce covered steak burrito. Mine was huge, like a 14-inch shell STUFFED and covered in a wonderful cheese sauce, all the fixings on the inside 😋 after a Margaret some chips and hot salsa I could only eat half 😋 so I have leftovers oh boy oh boy oh by

Enjoyed the bright colors and painted artwork everywhere. Reasonable prices. The chimi could have been a little more fried. White queso was too runny.

Very bad food, the chicken was rubbery and unseasoned, the rice was alright at best, the salsa tasted like soap and had too much cilantro, also they store their chips in an uncovered container and we're grabbing the chips with their hands to bring to tables?

This was my first time visit. We were seated quickly, even as a party of eight. Service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Drinks were brought quickly, as was the food. The food was good, delicious, and as ordered. However, my dish wasn't anything exceptional. It was standard mexican cuisine. The server kept us in chips and salsa. The atmosphere was nice. It was not terribly busy, but pleasant. I would 100% return.

I am an out of towner who came through Edwardsville and stopped at Oaxaca. Ordered the huevos rancheros... absolutely delicious. I lived in Texas for over 10 years in Houston their food holds up even though they're in a small town

Middle of the road experience. Was surprised to see how small the chimichanga was compared to other places I've been. Chicken was overcooked, and the flavor on the beans and rice were subpar. The queso was quite good, though, and paired nicely with the complimentary bag of chips. Nothing to write home about, but not the worst Mexican I've had.
