Oriental spoon is one of my favorite restaurants. I get cravings for the spicy pork soup and crab rangoon. I will drive 45 minutes from st Charles to edwardsville because it is THE best spicy soup in the area. This has been my favorite place to eat for the last decade, and it just occurred to me while reviewing another restaurant that I've never shared why. Obviously the food is the best part. If you aren't sure what to order, I'd definitely recommend the beef bulgogi noodle. But really you can't go wrong! My favorite is the spicy ramyeon, with rice cakes and tofu! All the food is cooked fresh and perfectly, and will arrive at your table before you've finished...
This place is great but for goodness sakes, stop over cooking the chicken katsu and donkatsu. Always so stringy, cant say ill get them again. Too nice to complain in person i guess cause it tastes good at least
