Greatly enjoyed the Meat Me in St Louie! After given a 50 minute, 1 hr 15 minute, and a 40 minute wait times on a Friday night at 6pm from other restaurants, we were able to walk right up to the counter to order at Sauce on the Side. We are glad we were turned away at other locations because our first time here did not disappoint! The food was hot and delicious!
I have been to 3 locations and this one is most definitely the largest. Which is nice. Clayton and downtown I always felt kinda limiting in space. Especially with all the pick up orders and delivery. But most definitely the same high quality and great customer service. If you have never been you really need to treat yourself to the value and quality you deserve. For the price there is no better place I have found for a nice treat for lunch or a quick friendly dinner Highly recommended.
This restaurant serves calzones for those who don't know. It is basically self serve, which is why service is 3 stars. All employees we interacted with were very friendly and helpful however. The calzone was good. They had a large and interesting selection on the menu board, or you could build your own. I thought the price was very reasonable for what we got, which surprised me.
