Chappy's is off to "right side" of Wang Gang. I don't know much, but of one thing I'm sure: the fries (delicious) come from the same place as Wang Gang's, same size, same texture, same golden brown. I had a two-patty burger, lettuce wrapped (also delicious). The house salad was fresh, and poppyseed dressing just right. Thanks, Chappy's, for a perfect burger and fries meal.

First time ever coming to Chappy's it was pretty cool the atmosphere was like a time capsule. The food was decent, I tried the buffalo chicken sandwich it was alright I thought it would be crunchy but was very chewy, my mother got the chicken wing basket and said it was good while her boyfriend got the Chappy cheese burger he said it was delicious. The sodas were just not good probably because I really don't drink Ski products while milkshakes were just okay. Overall Chappy's was a good bite probably because we came there real early.

A friend told me about this place. So first time ordering. We ordered the fried chicken, chicken fingers, mashed taters & gravy, slaw, fried mushrooms. It was hot and fresh. Best chicken I’ve eaten in a long time. Mashed taters and gravy rocked. It was all really good. However, I didn’t get my Texas toast that came with the meal. Very disappointed because I’m a bread eater with my meal. But I won’t let that deter me. As the terminator says’ I’ll be back’ lol

Delightful staff and delicious food. I ordered 7 wings with a small salad. He ordered the 3 piece chicken combo and a FREE MILKSHAKE for his birthday!! Seriously the best fried chicken.

We drove from Wood River to Edwardsville to try out Chappy’s. Ordered online. Got a text telling us our order was being bagged as we were nearing the restaurant. We ordered the six piece strip family meal and two an la carte chicken breasts. All good so far. Got back home with the food and plated it. The fried mushrooms were good. The mashed potatoes and gravy were cold; which I can mark up to driving back home to Wood River before we ate. The chicken however was overdone to the point of being almost burnt and quite inedible. I called the establishment back and talked to Jake to inform them that my dinner that I paid them for was unacceptable. I told Jake I wanted to talk privately with the establishment about the situation to give them a chance to do something about it without leaving a poor review. The response was ‘ok…I’ll tell the cooks in back…Goodbye. Have a nice night.’ No word on a refund or options to take care of the situation. So here I am leaving a poor review. Now, I find myself taking the time out of my evening to cook the family something else to eat after paying Chappy’s for exacty that. Please contact me to rectify this situation and I will gladly give Chappy’s another try. If it isn’t important enough to management to fix please let me know also. I realize any business can have a bad day and hate to castigate them in a bad light over one experience. Make it right Chappy’s.

My boyfriend saw owner on Fox 2 yesterday morning and he wanted to go and check it out so we did ,food was ok but upon our visit I recognized the owner from being on Fox 2 I noticed he went over to a white couple greeted them , brought them their tab spoke with them and also mentioned to them if it was there first time there ,my boyfriend and I was never greeted by him , never said anything thing to us of course we are black ,I asked our wonderful,bubbley waitress if she would have the owner come over so we can meet him and let him know how great our waitress was regarding her great customer servicewell he never did ,he avoided it and walked over next door and never came over so with that being said, were not going back ever and not to mention we traveled from the Forest Park in Saint Louis area to travel to Edwardsville to visit Chappys and to support his business,well big guy we won't be back and we thank our waitress which was great. FYI you should treat all your customers the same ,thanks ?
