We went there for lunch and was honestly shocked. We each got the 2 meat meal with two sides. It was $19 a piece for each. We both got brisket and pulled pork. The servings of meat were ridiculous. We got less than a cup of pulled pork and only 2 pieces of brisket. The brisket was dry and didn’t have a smoked flavor. The sides were bland and weren’t good. For being a bbq smokehouse it was very disappointing. We won’t be going back to waste our money for barley getting any food.

This was the first time we’ve patronized the Edwardsville location. I’d take the drive to Fairview considering what I was given today. The restaurant didn’t seem to be slammed with orders, so I’m shocked that I’d be given what looks like week olds green beans. They look like they’ve been through it (green beans). Best practice would have been to allow me the opportunity to state if I wanted them or allow me to choose a different side.

Pros:Brisket, mac and cheese and the sauces are all still good.Cons:*Cornbread was dried out and inedible.*Asked for 2 extra sauces for two flavors, didn't get them.*Slice of key lime pie didn't even look like key lime and was TINY, 3 bites max. For $4.99, it's a total rip-off.*Sodas: The menu has a wide variety. In truth when you get there, the takeout fridge had 3 flavors (out of 14 on the menu).*Half the menu appears to be "out of stock."*Price: The meal was $26, overpriced for the amount of food given. What happened? Management and owners on vacation? Used to be great. Won't be back.

Was just there. The fried chicken biscuit sandwich is awesome. I've had the bbq and it's good but that sandwich was great.

It is continuously absolutely awful and disgusting every time I get it. I am thoroughly disappointed. They never fail to make terrible macaroni and cheese. Today, my macaroni tastes like the smell of the Home Depot store. It is not that difficult to make mac and cheese taste decent. Absolutely vile. Do not eat here.

First time in Edwardsville. Great little town. Visited Sugarfire twice on the same day. Lunch was Brisket. Sorry it was dry as brisket go and disappointing. Sides were pretty good. 2 Stars. Dinner was Ribs. The ribs had a nice smokeyness and a great gnaw off the bone chew (I hate fall off the bone, mushy meat)! The sides were good at dinner also. 4 Stars. Service was competent, but the folks behind the counter need to smile. They didn't look glad to see a customer at either meal. Bored? Tired? Indifferent? Maybe but not friendly. 2/3 Stars.

I rarely stray far from my usual order. An order of brisket, Mac and cheese and the corn bread. Corn bread is always amazing, cooked well and topped with butter. I visit once every 2 weeks and I'm never disappointed

Food is okay. Definitely expected to be able to taste the meat had been smoked but there was very little flavor at all. Brisket, ribs, and pork were relatively dry and definitely needed the barbecue sauce.Atmosphere is nice, people are nice, lots of barbecue sauce choices. Mac and cheese was good though.

Enjoyed a delicious primento, bacon, tomato and lettuce sandwich for lunch. Employees friendly, restaurant clean. Mixed vegetables were good - but only zucchini and yellow squash with onions. Think needs another name - maybe mixed squash.

Great turkey. Didn’t get the chance to try any sides other than the fries with my turkey sandwich. Fries fried too hard for my taste but the meat was cooked well. Definitely need to add sauce to it otherwise it’s a little plain dry.

Love this place!!! The food was absolutely amazing. Creative atmosphere and definitely a must visit if you love BBQ. Have to admit they have the best. I had the "Tractor Pull" sandwich which was amazing!! The brisket was perfect. And you have got to try all the different sauces. Who knows, you may want to get some to take home like we did.

Second time to the Edwardsville location. Two years ago food was cool at best. This time ordered curbside. Order was timely but one pulled pork meal was missing the potato salad that was on the bill. Second pulled pork meal had tough (old) green beans with stems. Pulled pork was low in taste but I could taste the smoke. Will not give this restaurant a third chance. We will eat the local bbq next time as we should have done tonight!

Food was good but the staff seemed confused. Why did I have to give my order twice? Why did they forget who had which order, and then forget the sides. All was taken care of, but maybe they should run a proper POS. Also, the staff should know the menu items and not leave us guessing as to what we'll receive. The best part was fountain Ski!
