Good Service, decent Chicken Spiedini. Not as cost effective as the fairly new Olive Garden down the road.
However, you know that they put alot of thought and effort as well as pride into what they serve.
Portions are very sharable, they obviously don't want you to leave hungry.
Solid customer service, by wait staff.
Definitely, worth the little more you might spend.

The only critique I would give is to dust the tops of the big air ducts.

Absolutely love Sugos. Food is great. Service is great. It can get a little noisy if it’s busy but other than that the atmosphere is also good. Posting 4 stars for lack of a changing table in the restroom. I’ve said something to the staff a couple times but there’s still never been one installed after a year and a half since I’ve said something. Going out with babies is a challenge. This may seem like a minimal request but a convenient place to change baby is so very very appreciated.

Waited without drinking glasses, when we asked the young man said we don’t have clean ones. I asked him to bring to go cups so he did. He said, hey that’s a good idea! The lasagne was not good, large scoops of meat sauce and very little lasagne. Waitress was in too big of a hurry, she kept walking as she plopped down a Diet Coke- rude. There was an excuse for everything. Go and see for yourself!

Unexpected Flavor Victory: Sugo’s Spaghetteria, Edwardsville IL

A long time ago, in a town far away from my homeland—I landed at Sugo’s Spaghetteria—a destination where balance, flavor, and comfort come together in harmony. No lightsabers, just forks—and trust me, you’ll want both hands free.

🍷 The Ambience
Rustic warmth meets subtle sophistication. The vibe? Calm, inviting, and a little bit like a cantina where everyone actually wants to eat. The staff are attentive, wise, and refreshingly helpful (even without mind tricks).

🥗 Field Greens with Strawberries (Daily Special)
An alliance of flavors—sweet strawberries, creamy gorgonzola, red onion, and toasted almonds, all tied together with a balsamic vinaigrette. Crisp, colorful, and perfectly balanced. A refreshing nod to the light side of dining.

🍝 Tortellini in Garlic Cream with Peas, Mushrooms & Bacon
A rich, hearty dish that delivers like a seasoned smuggler on a mission. Pillowy tortellini packed with cheese, surrounded by savory bacon, earthy mushrooms, and snappy peas. The garlic cream sauce? Bold enough to stand alone. This one's got serious flavor power.

🛸 Final Verdict
Whether you're a pasta Padawan or a seasoned master of Italian cuisine, Sugo’s offers something truly satisfying. Artisan dishes, thoughtful service, and a cozy setting that earns a spot in the galactic dinner hall of fame.

🌌 Pro Tip:
Arrive early—or secure a table like you're negotiating with a hut—this place gets busy fast. And don’t skip the bread. Seriously. It’s warp-worthy.

I got the chicken piccata special and it was outstanding. Also had the bruschetta for an appetizer. The amount of food served is more than enough and tastes amazing. Will definitely be going back.

I was excited to come here and try a new place, the waiter was distracted the whole time, maybe too much going on? Took a while to take our order then the food came out and the pasta was watery like the sauce hadn’t had a chance to thicken or something 2 dishes needed to be sent back… Asked for manager and was denied access to manager apparently they were saying they aren’t a manager?.. Interesting.. I hoped for better.. Maybe a bad day? Hope this place isn’t going downhill with the quality of food and service.. Cute dining area though.

I would recommend it for any family members. Bring an empty stomach because they have big servings. The bread is the best in town. The meat balls are more like meat boulders with their size.
