I got to Tastea every week for boba on Sunday. It’s the best boba in town and the service is great. It can be a wait sometimes on Sundays since they usually have 1 person working in the afternoon, but I have always found it worth the wait. The price point is good and the music is up to the barista which is very fun. This isn’t a place to really sit down and enjoy boba. They have a very limited seating area and it gets noisy with customers ordering a step away. But the atmosphere...
Service was great. The atmosphere is cute and cozy, but when I went the music was *really* loud. It was rap/R&B, which is great, but it's bass heavy. There's a speaker right in the waiting area and that loud bass was starting to hurt my head :/ a "to each their own" kind of thing but I think they should take into account the speaker being right there so the music shouldn't be blaring like it was.I ordered the taro milk tea and I wasn't a fan....
The shop has such a home-like feeling when you come in. The drinks were so pleasant! I ordered a large brown sugar oreo. My sister had a pineapple passion fruit tea with watermelon popping boba. For both of those, it was 20. I loved the service & the atmosphere, but the parking and the price isn't what I was hoping for. There is, however, additional parking behind the building & you can walk through a public hallway between buildings to get around to the shop.
