“This upscale bar and restaurant has amazing drinks, delicious appetizers, outstanding entrées with sides and desserts to match; and a phenomenal staff/atmosphere. We were greeted by Simmi, a very gracious and warm hostess. Simmi made us feel right at home and we seated right away as we did have a reservation. We ordered a salad which was delicious with homemade dressing and crunchy croutons, the fillet which had a scrumptious tomato jelly topping and the meat was tender, juicy and scrumptious. The mac & cheese was mouthwatering, yummy and to die for. We were so stuffed that we skipped dessert but I have been there before and they are incredible. Our waiter was outstanding and very attentive. My favorite steak restaurant USED to be Texas Roadhouse however, it was and still is a hit or miss as the Dallas fillet would be raw and still mooing or dry and tough. The price at restaurant House of Bourbon match the amazing taste flavor and and is worth every bit of the upscale price. If I’m going eat a steak, I want it to be perfect flavorful juicy and tender and that is what I received at the 1933 House of Bourbon.
