I spoke to the manager and he explained the issue with the refund was because I ordered online using google pay. He told me what he needed to get the refund issued, once he had all the information he needed he called me back personally to tell me I would have my refund in 3-5 business days back to my original payment method. I did not expect to receive a personal call, it was definitely appreciated and made me feel better knowing he was committed to making sure we were taken care of. I am changing my rating to reflect my interaction specifically with him. The situation happened and as a manager who is coming in after the fact all you can do is your best to make it right. Fingers crossed the refund process goes smoothly.
I don't know what is going on at the Wingstop in Edwardsville but this is the 3rd time I have had an issue but this time they have outdone themselves. In the past I have given them grace because I know what it like to work during a rush or have a bad night but I can not let this one go. I ordered online figuring it was tuesday so they wouldn't be busy, when we picked up the order there were a ton of people, none of which were happy. When my husband got home with the order I noticed he didn't have the soda I order and when he opened the bags I realized half my order was missing. I called several times before someone finally answered he gave me the option to come back and get my missing items or a refund. I opted for a refund, he did not know how to do the refund and asked for help-he got very little instruction. It took about 10 minutes before he told me it was taken care of and the refund would go to Google pay. It has not been refunded so I will have to the store tomorrow. It was a large order so I would understand missing something but half the order is just not ok. My advice don't order unless you are the store and can watch them bag your items.

I ordered almost $80 worth of boneless wings and I drove 15 minutes to the place to pick them up and had to stand around for 15-20 after the estimated time. Out of the handful of workers, only 2 were working. One asks for the name on the order and immediately puts down a bag, throws the receipt away, and walks away angrily. I get home with the food and none of the flavors are correct or even labeled. So I call and some lady says and I quote, “yea YOU forgot the rest of your food” so I drive another 15 minutes there for the exact same treatment as the first time and get home with the food to find that there’s like 30 different traditional wings in the bag, which I never ordered. Seems like they gave me 2 different people orders. I have sent a complaint in and have yet to receive a response. Also forgot to add, out of the 2 wrong orders I received, I still never got the 2 orders of fries that I paid for. $80 worth of wings that I never got and yet I can’t get a refund?!?!?! The picture attached is everything I ordered and yet nothing I received…

Always upset employees I see them making door dash uber and grub hub driver fill the drinks which is against health code if they do this what other heath codes do they ignore

Ordered for 2, fries were cold and soggy the minute we received them. I ordered a large ranch, paid for it and never received it. Drink machine was down, was made to pay for drink, but was never given a drink. Terrible. I get it superbowl Sunday, but it was for two people. Two meals. That’s it. Never again.
Apparently, manager James has some serious rage issues. Needless to say, we won't be back. Ever.

Food is great. Customer service is AWFUL. Made a mistake and placed the wrong order so I called the store to ask for help. Was immediately talked down to like I was a child and was repeatedly told it was all my fault and he would NOT help me. TERRIBLE terrible terrible customer service. The dude straight up hung up on me too. Might as well called me straight up stupid the way he talked to me over the phone. NEVER make a mistake or ask for help you will be treated horribly and like you can’t properly function. 0/10 service

James the general manager is disrespectful rude unprofessional don't know what he doing after placing my order online I waited a hour at the store then once I got my food it was wrong they cheated me out my order then when I called to notify JAMES THE GENERAL MANAGER I PAID FOR A LARGE CAJUN FRY AN RECEIVED A SMALL FRY NO SEASON HE NEED TO BE REPLACED
The employees are rude and very unwelcoming when taking your order. I was waiting for my togo order and got it after maybe 10-12 minutes, they told me it would be 20-25 minutes. They didn’t give me my order of wings either. A group of 3 walk in and they told them it would be a 40 minute wait. These employees tell costumers this to steer them away. This place needs new management.

I went to this location tonight after ordering an hour before close thinking it would be no problem. I have never been so wrong in my life. I arrive to an absolute shit show of a store with a huge mess in the kitchen of orders stacking up waiting to be bagged and handed out with a rude FOH employee whose constantly swearing about how everything’s going wrong. Like come on have some composure at least. I have worked in the food industry since I was 16 and I will never be returning to this location as long as the managment and service practices remain the same. Stone cold wings that sat on a counter 15 minutes after the given wait time waiting to be bagged with barely any sauce on them and not even the correct sauces. Extremely disappointing

Worst experience. I don’t leave reviews but this calls for one. Waited at least 45 minutes for our food with was not hot, and way way over-seasoned fries. Multiple people got their orders when they walked in after my group of 3. We did not have a large order.

Sheesh, my experience I just had at this location was absolutely atrocious!! First of all, they have a sign on the door that says "Due to staff shortage, we are not accepting walk ins", yet I was able to walk into the restaurant, sit on my phone and place an order online and only 2 people entered the store the entire 20 minutes I was there (they were picking up Door Dash orders). So my question is, what would've been the difference for someone to take my order at the register in an empty store? I was dumbfounded.
There is a heavy set white female there who I presume to be the manager, who literally was yelling to the other employees across the store about how if a certain employee didn't show up for their shift they were getting fired. She proceeded to gloat about wanting to fire this employee "so bad" and she couldn't wait to do so. She was also yelling and complaining about how she hates the night shift and complaining about how she doesn't understand how they struggle on nights with 5 people. She then began to compare the amount of orders they processed in comparison to the night shift. As a customer, that is not my business and I should not know that. Her energy was just overwhelming and disgusting. I was concerned she was going to have either a nervous breakdown or an aneurism, I was so uncomfortable the entire time. When the male called my name for my order, I simply and nicely asked for my 32oz drink cup, which he was very kind about, but she proceeded to stare me down as if my existence was an inconvenience to her.
I'm sorry to say, but if you hate your job and co workers so much to a point where you can't even be professional in front of customers, you should probably find a new job. I'm so disturbed by how this woman behaved herself, I hope that corporate can see these reviews.

I HOPE JAMES READS THIS!! Me and my two friends went to this wingstop earlier today and when we walked in we were greeted by James. My friend was wearing a hat and James remarked about the hat which led to us striking up a conversation about sports and other things for about 5 minutes before we ordered. Whenever we were starting to order we made sure to tell James we were separate, but he insisted on putting us on one tab, we were confused but went along with it. Whenever it was time to pay we showed him that we were college students who went to SIUE because this establishment offers a student discount. After we showed him we were students I tried to hand him my credit card to pay but he insisted that he paid for our food! I wanted to give him a very gratuitous tip but he still insisted that he pay for it. We finally accepted and went to sit down, normally I am a neat freak about the tables and chairs being clean where I eat as well as the silverware. When we got to our table the tables and chairs were very clean and smelled nice as well. Not only was the cleanliness of the store very good but when we got our food it was genuinely perfect. I ordered the Voodoo fries and their limited time Barbeque sauce and normally when I get the Voodoo fries the fries are slightly mushy or the ratio is off, they however were the perfect ratio and easily the best Voodoo fries I have gotten from a Wingstop. The food was very good, the store was very clean, and the atmosphere was very friendly and hospitable. If that weren't enough I can surely say that simply because of James and how generous he was to me and my friends. Part of a successful business is catering to your target audience, and this Wingstop for sure was a good experience for me and my friends today.
