Wouldn’t let me have my service dog in there. I showed the bartender his ID and they still said no. Going to report it to the ADA, which they do nothing but at least there will be another complain on their BBB

Wouldn't let me have my tiny service dog in there. I showed her his id and she still said no. I'm making a report with the ADA and BBB. Been in there like 15 times and never had a problem until tonight. So I hope my fellow truckers will not spend any money in there.

We ate here for the first time a week ago and had an awesome experience and awesome food! Hubby had the char broiled pork chops and I had the beer battered walleye. Both were excellent! We went at 5pm on a Friday so not too busy but the atmosphere was wonderful. People playing pool, music playing, people visiting at the bar. We will definitely b back!

We walked over from the truck parking at petro. Very good food. I got the 2 pork chops(1breaded, 1 grilled). My husband had the 16oz steak. It was.excellent, we both were both extremely satisfied. Hard to find good home cooked food on the road and this place had it. Quick, friendly service. Great music, clean,nice place to have a drink, and eat a yummy dinner.
Absolutely great food and service. The cheese sticks were amazing. Completely home made. Not the small frozen cheese sticks you get from most places. When they brought out the cheese sticks, I thought it was the fish I ordered they were so big. The walleye was beer battered, delicious, and flaky. The other day, I ordered the New york strip. It came out cooked perfectly, medium rare. It was one of the best steaks I've had in a while. The service was great, friendly, and attentive. I downed my sweet tea. Before I could ask, she brought me another. I was extremely thirsty and downed that one. Without asking, the waitress brought me 2 sweet teas to quinch my thirst. The only possible complaint I could have is the noisy atmosphere, but it is a bar, so you can't really penalize for that. The staff were all friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. A sentiment you don't see in the food industry much anymore. I would highly recommend Chasers to anyone looking for a great bar and grill while in the Effingham Illinois area.
