Chili's Grill & Bar

Atmosphere was the best part. We were seated in a booth near the bar. 3 TV's right above the bar. Enjoyed watching football & Ninja Warrior. Service started great. When food came, different server accidentally dropped my whole plate upside down on the floor. The burger bites my kids ordered didn't have ranch on them when it was supposed to. 1 of the orders if mozzarella sticks had wrong sauce on them. There was a hair on 1 of my daughter's mozzarella sticks. They forgot my daughter's sour cream. Everyone at my table were almost done when I finally got my food. Even though waitress said it just came up, took another 10 minutes & I had to ask for it. I took most ofit home. They DID comp my meal, though. Food was alright
They did remember my sour cream. The take home boxes were tiny. I needed 2 just for mine. Seems like after we placed our order service declined. I am happy they comped my meal & made it right, without me asking. Wasn't horrible, but not great. Just mediocre. We'll probably try again sometime.

Chilis is my absolute favorite restaurant and I’ve been to a fair amount of them but this is always my overall favorite. The service is amazing and food is never a miss here. Clean restaurant and extremely convenient to take care of your check at the table whenever your ready

Ate there on a busy Friday night. We were seated in the bar and were crowded by others waiting for a table. Food was bland, poorly spiced and cool. We asked for S&P and server brought it at the end of the meal. Check was electronic and server did not explain how we could see the bill. I got the text receipt and was charged, 2.99 just for picking up the game counsel on the table. Called to complain, was put on an eternal hold and I hung up. Always liked Chili’s in the past, but this will be our last visit to the chain. Do yourself a favor and buy something from Aldi’s down the street and microwave it in your hotel room. Cheaper and probably better tasting.

My service is always been good and the food. We were disappointed to find out they only have barbecue ribs now and discontinued the corn on the cob. That's why we frequented are local Chili's. I forsee us not coming as often anymore.

I was here a month ago and ordered food to go , it was great. I went back and ordered the exact same food to go and was seriously disappointed! Chicken wings were overcooked and tossed in the trash, the rest of the order was sloppy and missing dipping sauce. The Mac and cheese was about half full. Lesson learned, will not return to this location.

I would like to start by saying that our waitress was fantastic. She was the highlight of our 1-night stay in Effingham. Very personable with an overall sweet and kind demeanor.

As far as the restaurant, it was fairly clean. We arrived around 9p and there were only a couple of other customers inside.

The food was quite disappointing. So much so that even our waitress was surprised. lol

Ordered our usual Smokehouse platter with 3 options. Btw, Chili’s…please bring back the corn - it was the best part of y’all’s menu!! Anyway, the chicken strips were old and so dried out I could barely cut it with my knife. I tried to chew through a piece of it but I couldn’t make myself finish it. The fries had been sitting under the light for quite some time as they too were just dry…luckily I smothered them in ketchup and it helped them go down. The sausage was amazing and the quesadillas were fresh and hot. I tried the mac and cheese in place of my usual corn and it was spectacular! May I be so bold to say my new favorite side here??!!

Overall, there was enough decent food to not make dinner a complete bust but I think this should be a teachable moment for cooks that you should never serve food to paying customers that you wouldn’t wanna eat yourself. That’s just not cool! Take a little pride in the food you’re preparing and we will most definitely appreciate the effort!
