Unique donut shop with an old school feel. Super friendly staff, wide variety of drinks, donuts, and breakfast sandwiches. It's a small place, seating for 12. Worth the stop.

In my opinion, the best donuts I’ve had in the Midwest. I’m from the West Coast where these donuts are very popular. This guy is super friendly quick and great prices 10 bucks gets me a large Boba Thai tea and three delicious fresh donuts. I can’t beat it.

The donuts are fantastic here, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Food is a bit expensive, but most things are nowadays. The building could use a facelift, but don't let that fool you it is good food.

Well, the donuts aren’t always fresh out of the oven. They always taste good. They have the right amount of softness and taste to them. Everybody there is super friendly and it’s a really calm environment. All the food in here taste good in the coffee is really good as well, I highly recommend if you’re visiting Effingham Illinois

A coworker just brought these in for a brunch potluck. These donuts are so fresh and tasty. The cake donuts are surprisingly light yet also flavorful. I don't live anywhere near Daylight Donuts, but I would definitely stop by there if I did. You should if you do!

Quite possibly the best donut I ever had. I had a pudding filled, and my husband had a cinnamon roll. We both loved them.
The donuts are ok but definitely not exceptional. I asked if the donuts were filled, they said yes, which I discovered was untrue when I went to eat them. Overall I was disappointed and would not come back.

Stopped by to pick up some donuts for my daughter and myself as we were traveling through the area. We stopped by fairly early on a weekday morning, and the place wasn’t overly busy at the time of our arrival. Donut selection was fairly limited in options. There were a few different types of frosted donuts (with or without sprinkles), glazed donuts, and cinnamon donuts. Might have been some other options available, but those were the only ones that we could see at the time. We bought a half dozen donuts of different types. Donuts were decently flavored, but they were somewhat dry. Not sure if they were day old donuts, but they didn’t seem very fresh for 7am in the morning. Cost for the six donuts was almost $9.

Owner was obviously sick the morning I stopped by. Coughing and sneezing while waiting on me. I paid for my doughnuts and threw them away when I left. I still got really sick a day later. My doctor diagnosed me with bronchitis and sinusitis. Never again.

Loved the breakfast sandwich made with a buttery croissant, egg, bacon or sausage was delicious gonna have to order it everytime I come in now. Drinks are made to order and are so good! I recommend the ice mocha. Fresh donuts just make sure you come in early they sell fast!
Kid-friendliness: They have chocolate milk and sprinkles on some of their donuts which is always a win for my toddler
