Shame on you whomever the manager is of this location. 1 cook and 1 waitress..... also host, bus boy, and cashier. If your workers do not show up that's your job! Service was great, food was warm but these two I know are over worked and under paid. Also shame on you Effingham citizens for talking trash the whole time these two waited hand and foot on all 15 tables.
We love eating here. The one in mattoon closed a while back, so my family and I enjoy coming here. We love the red white and blue pancakes, especially anything breakfast! Love that it is open whenever, hardly anywhere is open 24-7. Our server tonight was new and she was overwhelmed, she did great though and it made us happy seeing her coworkers pep talking her instead of belittling her. 🥰

It has been a while since the last time food at Dennis’s tasted this good. The food was fresh and well seasoned. My family and I stopped at this location for a quick bite late at night.
