Our second time here, and the food and service were very good. Excellent quality, and the best beet salad I think i’ve ever had. But as we were checking out, I noticed some interesting anomalies on our bill. First, an unexplained 5% service charge was added to the total, which I was unaware of. And the martini my wife ordered came in three parts. First, the martini charge was $7. Then a $13 charge was added to that because she asked for Belvedere vodka. Fine. Next, a $1.50 charge was added for the 3 olives in the martini, bringing the martini cost to $21.50. My advice, order cautiously.

It was our second time dining at Firefly as we live on the Gulf Coast. We came for brunch with all four of us ordering off the brunch menu, delicious! Mushroom soup was outstanding! We were seated on the back porch which is lovely and it even snowed for us! Great restaurant and staff!

Firefly continues to be our go to restaurant in Effingham. The food is outstanding and the service is always good. I highly recommend that if you are in the area it's worth your time.

This has been a wish list stop for a while, the public charging stations help make that happen this trip. The hummus sandwich was amazing! And was a great spot to relax and eat while charging my car.

First time visit as we are from out of town. My husband and I both chose items from the brunch menu. I had the lemon curd french toast with berries and ice cream. My husband ordered the waffle and chicken with sausage gravy. Everything was delicious and portions were large. A little pricey, but service and atmosphere are excellent. Our server, Eddie was pleasant and efficient.

The Firefly Grill is a fantastic dining experience! I will definitely visit them every time I'm in the Effingham area. Located near the Effingham Performance Center. Beautiful serene setting with an outdoor deck overlooking a pond filled with colorful Koi fish that you can feed off of the deck. I highly recommend the Firefly Grill!

We traveled four hours to meet my son and eat here because of the rave reviews. This restaurant is one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at. The food tasted so fresh. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, Philly Cheesesteak, Muffuletta, Shrimp Cakes, Apple Cobbler, Creme Brûlée, and Nitro Cold Brew. Everything was excellent. We have already made plans to go back. It’s definitely worth the drive. The restaurant has such a nice atmosphere to it. We sat on the covered porch and watched the rain. I highly recommend eating here.

Great farm to table establishment with a great atmosphere and equally outstanding service. You can taste the freshness in the well prepared food offerings. Unfortunately my NY Strip was undercooked, which was disappointing, hence four stars instead of five. $200 for two people without any drinks is a little pricey too.

Wow, I've wanted to try Firefly Grill because the grandchild of Bill Hayes (Doug Williams on Days of Our Lives) owns it but now I'm a fan. Peaceful enjoyable atmosphere, Excellent service, and food I had to remind myself to slow down & savor because it was soooooo good. Pricey but well worth it.
