We had eaten here one other time and we planned our trip to Texas through Effingham to eat there again! It is a lovely place with geese, gardens and a pond with fish. The waitress was great, but the food was all way over "sauced." The salad was drenched with dressing and the Brussel Sprouts were swimming in sauce. On the plus side, they do not cook with seed oils!! The Cream Brulee was delicious!

What a delightful restaurant! We were driving thru Effingham on our way home to KC. This restaurant rivals anything KC has to offer!! We stop here every time we drive to the east coast to visit family. It is the Bomb!!!

I love the farm table idea that firefly does so well. Lots of tables were busy, but the noise level was low. Weight staff, Blake, had wonderful timing. The food was so delicious!

Chefs take on the fried deviled egg was fantastic! They should definitely incorporate the spicy cheese component to something on the regular menu. Eggs Benedict on brunch menu featured 2 perfectly poached eggs and the perfect amount of Canadian bacon. Servers and kitchen worked together to stay on top of the busy crowd while delivering perfect dishes. We've been here a million times and will continue to chose Firefly Grill for great food, perfect atmosphere, and outstanding service. Firefly Grill had gourmet chocolates available by the box locally made by two of their Chefs! Definitely recommend Blackbird Chocolate Company from the stamped wax seal packaging to the flawless chocolates they are great for self gifting or gifting to others for any occasion!

The food is so good, every single time we're there. The service is exceptional as well! Just looking at the menu the prices seem a bit high, but once you taste the quality of the food, are taken care of by excellent wait staff, in an environment that's cool and clean, it's worth every penny. Such a gem, we're so happy we found this place. We come from Bloomington Indiana, tho firefly isn't our main goal, we make a point to include it in our trip each and every time. As soon as our meal is over, we look forward with great anticipation to our return.

HANDS DOWN BEST EATS IN EFFINGHAM. My partner and our pup, Cash, ate here for dinner and came back the next day for brunch it was that good. Everything we ordered was a winner - sausage mushroom pizza, beet burrata, risotto ?, chilaquiles, Bloody Mary, and the sweet chili sour, cold brew, caramel latte. I don’t doubt they could make a better meal than alinea. Farm to table, great patio, friendliest staff, Victoria you’re the sweetest, we were speechless, only regret is not asking if we could purchase a firefly branded mug. Cash gives it a 4/4 paws, absolutely approved.

Cannot say enough positive things about this place! Love they are dog friendly and dog lovers on the patio! The view is incredible and the food will exceed all expectations. We went for dinner and came back the next morning for brunch it was that good! All items you could taste how fresh the ingredients were and service went above and beyond for us and our dog. Will recommend to any one is the area for any meal time - especially the risotto for dinner and the chilaquiles for brunch!

Hello everyone, Erik here from YouTube's Locker Lunatics. We were traveling and stumbled across this restaurant. We were in the mood for steak. We got the 14oz ribeye and appetizer. My wife got a margarita,I had a root beer. Unfortunately, the steak tasted like a pot roast. It was just not what we were looking forward to at all. The atmosphere was nice,service was A+. With the tip, it was pushing $200. Texas road house here we come. Lol
