Coming from Texas born & raised this is by far the best hispanic food you will find around Effingham. I’ve personally tried all Hispanic food locations & more than once.
It’s true, authentic, and full of flavor bursting with culture compared to other local restaurants. (My opinion) I am far from the dull & bland ingredients. If you like flavor with spice this is THE place to go. Even if you’re not interested in the pop of spice they can adjust accordingly, & every meal is made to order, on the spot! Nice and fresh, sauces on the side. With every meal comes salsa and a bag of chips. The Horchata is a hit!! Refreshing and delicious! 🤤 Not to mention the PRICES, they are perfect especially for the amount of food they give you. I have personally also tried the pollo plate, the shrimp plate, chicken plate and steak plate! It is a plate of authentic Mexican rice with your choice of protein drizzled in queso blanco! Yes I said white cheese! 😂 I have become a regular and plan to continue to. The owners are friendly and respectful, hard working and dedicated to the dream! I can’t wait for you guys to blossom and finally open your restaurant! I want to thank you 🙏 from my family to yours for bringing us a bit closer to home for every meal you have served us.

Really nice outside to chill and eat-especially when you’re wanting to grab a bite to eat!! I grabbed a couple of barbacoa tacos and they’re so delicious 😋 I’ll definitely swing by more often when I can!! 🙌

Was supposed to have three full size cups of queso cheese and when I got home there was only one was charged extra for two of them food was not up to its usual quality either

I got the shrimp tacos, and they were the best I've ever had!

2 separate times I have stopped at the banker location and stood outside waiting for an employee to take my order. Ended up leaving both times to go to the other location. Tonight that happened. Went to the Fayette location and tonight the nachos are pathetic. The chips bend like pasta.its a greasy mess. Been going there for years but NOT ANYMORE! plenty of Mexican food options in this town anyways.

Best nachos ever!! I work close by so I called place the order and it's always ready when I get there. I'm the car wash girl right behind! They no me there cuz im addicted to the nachos lol

This was a pleasant surprise, given where it is located. The tacos were quite quite good, by US standards. We tried almost everything… I think that the standouts were Suadero and Carnitas. The real prize was the green salsa, which was composed perfectly. We took all of the extra that was left over when we were done, and had it with our lunch the next day!
