Went here on the trip back home from the eclipse. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly. I guess the further south you go in Illinois the better the Mexican food gets.

I came here for the first time, and it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been too, good food, friendly staff, ESPECIALLY Juan. This place needs to give that man a raise. He’s so friendly and even taught me a few Spanish words. He grew my interest in learning Spanish because of how much he interacted with to not just me but my friends kid who just LOVED all the new Spanish words she learned. He’s very sweet and always smiling. Best waiter I ever had in my life. We love you Juan!!!Kid-friendliness: Juan knows all about kid friendlinees!!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a little ramp beside the door for wheelchairs!

Great atmosphere, great food, new favorite Mexican restaurant. The vegetarian fajitas were the best I've ever had. The salsa and guacamole were both so flavorful and fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection and we loved the Mexican music. Clean dining room and restroom.Attentive but not hovering servers. Excellent all the way around.Vegetarian options: Excellent

I visited with my inlaws, daughter, and grandchildren around 3 o'clock on a Saturday. I felt our waiter wasn't very excited to be at work that day. I'm not sure if this I normal service for this establishment, but reading some of the reviews, it isn't out of the ordinary.The food was just ok. The salsa had very little flavor, strong tomato taste. The portions were small with plenty of rice. I wouldn't be clicking my heels to go back to this place.

My husband has lived in Texas all his life and I've been there for 20 years, so when we came back home to visit family we didn't expect much in the way of Mexican food. But we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious. The salsa was fresh, the Dos Equis was served in a frosted mug with lime, and the enchiladas were on point. Wonderful! We'll be back next time we're in town.
