We stopped here for a late dinner while passing through town and were not disappointed! The food was delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming. We sat at the bar which provided a fun atmosphere, allowing us to watch meals be prepped and plated, and chat with the staff about the food. They make their pasta in house and import ingredients from Italy - this place is the real deal! We tried the deconstructed grilled cheese (amazing), a pasta dish and pizza so that we could try a little bit of everything! We also had bread pudding and gelato for dessert - 10/10. If you’re on the fence about trying out Lucia’s, don’t be - just go!

I had heard from a few buddies around effingham that this place was legit and they were not kidding!! I got a pizza while my girlfriend got pasta so we could get a taste of both. The pizza was amazing as well as the pasta. The deconstructed grilled cheese with their bread will knock your socks off so wear some tight ones!! Seriously, don’t sleep on it. We shared a bread pudding dessert with gelato and caramel drizzled over it which really sent it home. Such a good experience and we will be coming back from Champaign to eat there again.

I've been hearing a lot about Lucia's for a while. Decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Food was absolutely the best. We had the Lasagna. Flavor was like none I've ever had. Portion was good, but more would have been better. Price was high, but we knew this going in. We highly recommend and will be a returning customer.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat! We got the Mac n cheese, rigatoni and bucatini and everyone was fantastic! The bread was also very very good! Great local spot after a volleyball tourney! I wish it were closer to home!

Beautiful place to eat the best pizza this side of Napoli! The crust of the pizza was chewy but stretchy from the wood oven. The salad was fresh and dressing yum! I wished I took pictures but it was in my tummy before I could think about it.Vegetarian options: The French and Italian dressings are delicious and salad was fresh.Parking: Right under the underpass.
