Ate there for the first time today. I'm not quite sure what to think. It's a counter service type restaurant- you order at the front counter and they bring your food to you. Drinks are self serve. Prices seemed pretty high to me. Pasta prices are what I'd expect to pay on The Hill in STL. I had Pasta Al Forno. It is a baked dish. I thought at first it was a small serving but as I got into it I realized it was really more than I could eat. It didn't really have a lot of flavor to me. It came with two small pieces of bread that are baked there in their wood fired pizza oven. They had great flavor. It looked to me like the pizzas are the thing to get. I saw one come out of the oven and it looked very good. Definitely would serve at least two people, probably three. If I went back (not sure I will) that's what I'd get.

Absolutely incredible sandwiches. Best Philly I've ever had, no contest. The bread is perfect, the cheese is amazing, the steak is delicious. I live over an hour away and cannot wait to return. Well worth the drive (Come for Lucia's, visit family in the area as a bonus lol)

The bread is made fresh daily and it is soooo good. Definitely get the Wiz as the cheese option (it’s a melted homemade cheese that has AMAZING flavor)When you stop in try and talk to the Owner Chef Geno, he is full of passion when it comes to his cooking, and you can tell when you bite into one of these cheesesteaks!

Unfortunaly i ordered a cheesesteak with extra cheese to go. When i got home there was no cheese. Which made the sandwhich very dry. Theeat was good though. But how do you get a cheesesteak w/o cheese. Ugh andfor $18.00.

Handmade pasta that is the best you will find anywhere. And the byob policy is great if you want to enjoy your own wine with dinner.

We live an hour away, but when we are in the area, this is our favorite place to eat! The food is fantastic and so is the experience. They care about your experience and go above and beyond! Definitely recommend eating here!!

We found this fabulous place by luck on our cross country road trip and it was beyond good. The food was beautifully prepared. We started with the Spinaci Maiale. Wow! Crispy Nueskes pork belly, perfectly sautéed spinach and flavorful red pepper with a delicious olive oil sauce and just the right spice. Never would have expected to order this creative dish but was feeling adventurous and so glad I did! Next we had Chittara which is distantly like fettuccine al fredo but WAY better! Made in an authentic giant cheese wheel, expertly made and cooled pasta, fresh cracked black pepper. Excellent. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Was confused having 2 italian places with the same name in 1 small area. This is the correct address. Shared white pizza and small ceasar salad. They crest was so good and love they make their own croutons. So good.

Family of four visited this restaurant for the first time on a Friday evening around 6 o’clock. The restaurant has limited seating but we were lucky enough to be able to walk right in and order. We each got something different so that we could try the different pasta meals. All of the ones that we had were exceptionally good. We ordered a Caesar salad for the table and everybody said it was the best that they had ever had. We saw a few folks getting the pizzas which looked amazing. We also ordered cannolis for dessert and would definitely order them again. We will definitely be revisiting this restaurant in the future.

Great food. Taste fresh and flavorful. No shortcuts. See made in front of your eyes. Genuine Italian brick oven. Yum! Nicest owner and staff.

Fantastic pizza! It is a scratch kitchen that takes pride in quality ingredients and preparation. The crust is delicious. Apparently, they ferment it for a couple of days before baking which adds to the flavor. We also had a side of grilled broccolini, which was delicious. Counter service, byob (no corkage fee). Super friendly staff and owner. We were passing through on our way back to Chicago. I wish we had this place in our city! So good!
