2 weeks ago we stopped in on a Monday evening and the service was the worst. My wine glass had lip stains, the manager brought the new glass of wine with a bad attitude. Later, We ordered burgers and the server never asked what temp we like so he chose burned, over well done, dry. The server also chose rolls not chips and brought out rolls with the burgers. As if you need more bread. There was hair on lemon plate. The worst part not a single manager came to speak to us about our experience, the server knew how bad it was. I’ve tried contact corporate and I’m assuming they don’t care because they do not respond. Last time.

I am only in town for a few days due to work. I only chose this particular location because it was close to my hotel. Granted, it was close to closing time, but that is no excuse for subpar customer service. Our waitress was not attentive and the food was not hot.

Holy cow Effingham's Friday's has really stepped it up. It's never been bad, but their new steakhouse menu is awesome! On top of that, the service is really, really good. The 14-ounce ribeye was legitimately the best steak I've ever had in Effingham, and I say that at the risk of being taken out by some other local places that are also really good.
The food here was amazing and my sever was so nice. Definitely a place to bring your family!!

I hate to say it but I guess I understand now why so many TGI Fridays are shutting down. We stopped in today for dinner and ended up not ordering and just leaving. The menu has been significantly reduced which was super disappointing. The prices have also raised. Most menu items were over $17 now which is just crazy for TGI imo.
Also, there’s someone going around handing out free appetizer coupons in the area claiming to work for TGI. Make sure you check the date if you get one. The one we received expired in 2022.
