This is my FAVORITE Chinese place. Hadn't been there in years and I stopped by today - its exactly as good as I remembered! I recommend the garlic chicken and the lo mein! Service is always fast, friendly and reliable. Don't hesitate to try this place!

Bare bones place for Chinese food. China Garden is the only place in Elburn to get it. It's located in a lonely looking strip mall. Had bad expectations, which helped the food seem a lot better. The prices are pretty cheap, which also helped. A place for only carryout. It only has like one table inside. This has a pretty basic Chinese American menu. It's about $8 for an entree. That's cheap as f**** Also it's a big portion so even better. We got the General Tso's Tofu. It's now time for the bad part. The food here kind of sucks. Tofu was like partly chopped into pieces and tasted kind of chewy and tough. Had a pretty good spice to it. That was the best thing about the food for sure. Have worse expectations and this will seem like pretty okay food. It's cheap so it's like you get what you pay for so you can't complain too much about it. The inside of the place is too small so it's better to take it out to one of this plaza's random tables.

I am giving them 4 stars because this is a Chinese takeout establishment. You will receive ample portions of fresh, well made food if you eat inside. However you will not find any sort of atmosphere other than a clean table.
