This is my favorite place for breakfast. Misti, ( the super friendly and lovely waitress) tells me the lunch is just as good. I just can't pass on breakfast so I can't say for sure. Misting is the backbone of this place holding it up. So nice and thoughtful. She remembers your name and order even. Makes it feel like you're in your grandma's kitchen. Love, love, love this place.
Parking: There's a lot just of the north end of the building. Short walk past some other Elburn gems. Just trun east at the intersection just north of Rise and dine.
Fresh hand made burger patties. Nicely seared and juicy! I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger with cheddar cheese. And I added a fried egg on top. Completely messy but worth it. Tots are always great!

Cozy spot in Downtown Elburn with an awesome and friendly staff! Breakfast was delish! The Farmers plate: Biscuit n gravy, perfectly cooked over easy eggs, thick slice of ham, and hash browns! Granddaughter loved the French toast.

Will not return. Another restaurant charging CC fees onto the customer. If you want people to pay cash.. say you're a cash only establishment... or offer a legitimate discount for paying cash.
There are also often older gentleman (every time I have dined here in past almost going back 10 years - back when they were cash only) who are (I am sure loyal customers) speaking loudly with fowl language and anger in their hearts. It is distasteful.
