Fantastic experience, top to bottom--a must-stop. Beautiful antique decor with modern appointments; inviting atmosphere with top-notch products and customer-focused service; with local art and locally-produced items on offer. Then, there's the coffee. No joke, Jen at Terrapin Station Cafe makes THE BEST cup of coffee anywhere around, and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise. It's like a massage for your brain and soul. Starbucks just got turtle-punched by Terrapin.

We went looking for lunch and discovered that the paninis were self-serve (sorry, I go out so I don’t have to serve myself), so we ordered chicken rice soup, which took forever to bring to the table and was really bad. It was too thick and tasted of flour or corn starch (?). Not unlike eating wallpaper paste. They didn’t even bring a napkin with the spoon. Also, not super friendly staff. It was disappointing because the sandwiches created by the former owner were delicious and it was a much cozier, friendlier place with far better food and service.

Best expresso and latte around ! And let's not forget the unforgettable Cinnamon rolls !😋
You must try the burek! Flakey dough positively stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat along with diced potatoes and onion. As luck would have it, a second variety was offered this morning: egg, cheese and spinach. We had one of each and shared 😋 With, of course, delicious freshly brewed coffee. Gracious staff, friendly service, welcoming atmosphere.

Stopped for a latte Monday morning—thank you for being open Monday mornings! The latte was just what I needed—smooth, creamy, and warm. Can’t wait to visit again.

Tasty and filling breakfast wrap with bacon!! Real eggs were appreciated! My dirty chai got my day started just right.
I stopped in for a coffee and was delighted to find the MOST DELICIOUS homemade Croatian burek (flaky meat pastry). It was huge and definitely enough for two people. The staff are friendly and the cafe is adorable. I can't wait to return on my next trip through Elizabeth!

Stopped in for the soft opening, coffee was delicious, and the cinnamon rolls were the best we’ve ever had! Definitely recommend stopping in!!
Cute little place with fresh sandwiches and exceptional lemonade choices. Funny how it's a coffee place, but coffee never crossed my mind.
