We ordered a classic sub and an Italian beef sandwich the classic sub was to have extra crispy bacon the sub came out the bacon was completely limp the Italian beef was to have cheese hot Jardinaire on the side in an extra side of we au jus. no cheese and the hot Jardinaire on it and no extra au jus. and the bun was completely soggy. And it took 30 minutes and almost $30. No 2 sandwiches should take 30 minutes especially if one is cold and 30. Wow

My cousins and I spent an amazingly fun-filled weekend in Galena, IL this past weekend. One of the cousins was looking for breakfast places and came across Lola's, which was in Elizabeth. It was only a 7 mile drive, so we headed off. What a delightful place! The atmosphere was fun and the staff so welcoming. Our waiter was a real sweetie. With the four of us, he needed a good sense of humor. :) We couldn't believe the prices either. They were very reasonable. We each had something different and enjoyed it all. Wish we lived closer. I'd be there frequently. (One of the cousins enjoying her libation)

They are always running out of Italian Beef. Maybe it’s time to start ordering more considering this is the 3rd time I’ve tried to get one and this has happened. It’s apparently a popular item.

Disappointing. About $15 per person (should be no more than $10) for a sandwich, bag of chips, and a soft drink. No napkins and sub par service. Cozy atmosphere. Sandwich was average. Save your money for something better.

Fresh, friendly, and flavorful! Lola’s has it all. We had our first evening meal there tonight. The bar and gaming area is an absolutely awesome place to hang in Elizabeth. We tried the queso dip, meatloaf, pesto tortellini, and finished with lemon cake. Everything was amazing! Can’t go wrong at Lola’s.

WOW ! What a pleasant surprise. Apparently, they have opened for regular evening meals. All 5 of us had a great experience with fantastic meals. We like the simplicity of the menu. Made for a very nice meal. Curtis was our waiter who was very friendly yet professional. Near the end of our meal, one of the owners came around to welcome/thank patrons for xoming in as well to be certain we were satisfied.. Oh yeah ! ☆☆☆☆☆

I have lived in Galena for seven years. I had only driven through Elizabeth and always loved the views there. I wanted to walk around while the weather was still good and check out the stores etc. that were there. I have been to Lola's two times and everything I have had there was great. I liked the Portabella mushroom sandwich. The second time I got the beef sandwich and pickle soup. All were great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
