This is a woman owned winery on the outskirts of Galena.
Soon as you walk in their tasting room and gift shop,you are greeted with a smile . They offer a number of white and red wines. Tastings are generous pours. We both loved their reds, especially their Reserve Red. You can purchase any of the bottles in their gift shop.
They don't serve food but we brought in our own cheese and crackers. You can sit outside on their covered patio overlooking the vineyard.
Open 7 days a week and only 30 minutes outside of Galena,this is definitely a winery worth a visit.

Lovely place! Friendly staff. Nice selection of some unique wines like Daffodil White which was rich, sweet, white, soft, flowery, not too sweet, smooth. It’s a very cute place with a nice deck overlooking the winery which was super green and healthy and you can sit outside and toss some bean bags or sit inside or stand inside at the bar. It’s like someone’s home and feels like home. Gender neutral bathroom and parking is free and open. Wheelchair accessible.

My girlfriend Caitlin and I visited Massbach Ridge Winery during our countryside tour and it was absolutely amazing. When we arrived, we were greeted by Old Red, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more special.
There was only one staff member working when we visited, but she was great. She was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting. We ended up buying three different wines — Blackhawk, Daffodil, and Old Red — because they were just that good. Each one had its own unique flavor and you can really tell the care and passion that goes into what they do here.
If you are in the area, this winery is a must-visit. Between the beautiful setting, the delicious wine, and meeting Old Red, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Laid back and down to earth winery experience! There’s a gorgeous patio and a cozy tasting room. My husband and I went with our 7 month old and really enjoyed ourselves. Walking around the vineyard was lovely, as was chatting with one of the owners who took great care of us. The wines were unique and delicious- 8$ for a tasting is a steal. This is a true midwestern gem and a must-do if you are in the area!
