Stopped on our way home last Saturday night, had the best bacon jam slider, I never knew such a thing existed! Also, the bartender was very nice and engaging, she treated us like family. This place is a hidden gem whether you’re going east or west on 20, you won’t regret it.

If you're gluten free, perhaps find another location. Typical battered, breaded, bar food. Delicious and my family loved it! Just not much for the gluten free crowd.

Great downtown bar with amazing food. Thick hand pattied burgers cooked to perfection. Our group also got the lunch special. It was meatloaf. Everyone said it was incredible. A group of 12, and the waitress took our whole order without writing anything down. Everything came out quickly, and together. 100% accurate. We were very impressed. Stopped here on our way out to Galena for a buddies golf trip and it was perfect! I have been driving through Elizabeth for years while visiting the territories, but have never given this place a shot and I’m so glad I did because it will now be a repeat. I called ahead the day before to make sure they could seat 11 of us and they had no issues. Service was great and food came out extremely quick for a large party. They rave about their burgers and it was definitely one of the better ones I’ve had lately, cooked well, more of a thicker pub style and was full of flavor!
This is the exact type of vibe you look for in a small town bar, I would highly recommend stopping in if you’re driving through Elizabeth. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent saloon with wooden decor and solid burgers. We split a cowboy burger, and the kitchen plates it separately for us. We also did an order of the cheese curds with spicy ketchup! Very big hit - they're super fresh and the spicy ketchup had a nice tang. They also keep the local brewery on tap, so you're able to enjoy Highway 20!
Ended up being a great stopover before we arrive in Galena, IL and we're about to charge our EV within walking distance.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Loved the hometown hospitality vibe & the fact that the burgers are made from locally raised beef. Don’t miss this place!
