This is it, this is my new favorite spot for Mexican cuisine in Itasca. Saw the photo of the Birria Gordita so I gave it a try. And on God I was happy to be eating. If you are on lunch or just clocked out or even just passing through stop here because good.
When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted immediately. The person that took my order was extremely nice. She quoted 10 minutes to make the food, but it was done before that. It appeared to be a mostly a takeout location as there are just a few small tables. As I got my food and was leaving the rest of the staff gave me a farewell. Picked up some tacos from here the other night and they were quite good. My wife had the steak taco dinner which included 3 tacos, rice and beans. All were to her liking. I had the quesabirrias dinner. This was my first experience with quesabirrias and they were delicious. The beef was a stewed beef of sorts with great flavor and just enough spice. The cheese was nice and melty. Overall, I was quite impressed.
