I come here as often as I can, when Elk Grove Village road construction doesn't make it too difficult. I'm not Polish, but I imagine this has to be some of the best, most authentic Polish food around. The pierogi are amazing. Love getting the sausage or zapiekanka as well.
I ordered the pork goulash as the main dish and it was very good. The pork was tender and lean, the sauce was flavorful with the perfect amount of spices. The dumplings were plump and had a great consistency. It also came with a side of coleslaw and it is some of the best I have had in a very long time. There slaw is like many great BBQ restaurants. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PIEROGI. We have tried so many other places but keep coming back here. The owner is a chef herself. And hand makes the most comforting and delicious pierogi I have ever had. Like getting a hug with every bite my favorite is the potato cheese and the spinach! The restaurant is always clean and the food ALWAYS taste great. They have great sandwiches and soups too!
