Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Our server Katrina made the experience exceptional with her attention to detail and customer first attitude.

We prefer the Buffalo Grove location; the staff is overall friendlier and more welcoming there. They weren't particularly rude here, but the one 20 minutes down the road is 10 times better.

We brought a niece from Italy out to try some deep dish pizza. Our server was great and took an interest in whether she like the pizza. Yes of course she did.

The server, I believe her name was Katrina was wonderful. The issue with service was was related to the reservation time. Arrived slightly before reservation time. The reservation meant nothing as we still waited 35-40 minutes after the reserved time. At check-in, was told 5 minutes. 10 minutes after actual time, 5 minutes again..to have to still wait 30 more. The place was packed. Then, while seated, we were greater by a couple big ants on the table. Didn't bother to say anything about that, and stayed as we were hungry and order was already placed.

Great place for a family event! A good time was had by all, and the quality of the food unparalleled.

Despite confirming our reservation, our table for 8 was not prepared for us. A table for 5 arrived after us and was seated before us. We were finally seated and the waitress brought us drinks and did not return. We wanted to order before the rest of our party arrived. I then had to go up front to ask someone to find our waitress to take our order. It still took additional time for the food to arrive. Dessert took a long time to be delivered. The check was brought out quickly however. Yet again I had to go up front with the check and credit card to pay. All in all, not the establishment we remember. Will not return.

Awesome food and service as always. Our waitress was excellent and prompt esp for a group of 10!

This is one of my favorite Lou's. The Service is excellent, . The computer has the right amount of tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings, unlike some other others that  smother with cans and cans of tomatoes, making the pizza soggy. 

I had a reservation for 5:45 and was not seated until 6:15. Food was good, waitress was overwhelmed but nice

As someone who lives a few hours from Chicago, I've wanted to try the highly recommended Lou Malnati's for several years. Our party of three ordered a small salad to split and a medium pizza. It was a generous portion of food for us. Both the salad and pizza were fantastic! The buttery pizza crust and rich filllings were delicious. I also ordered a Paloma, which was well-prepared. While we were seated immediately (with a reservation), the place was extremely busy between the holidays and it took a while to place our order and about 45 minutes for the pizza to arrive. We'd definitely like to return to this location--and to visit a location nearer to our home.

Waiter was slow. Not very on top of things. Food was okay. Nothing special. Only good thing was we got right in.

Always a great place to gather our friends when we come to Chicago to visit! Everyone loves the Malnati's salad and the Classic Lou's deep dish.

Great service and delicious flavor. I would definitely recommend this family friendly restaurant

Wet bottom, soggy crust on both pizzas. Very disappointing. Salad was ok. Service was good.

I was flabbergasted at the size of the deep-dish personal pizza!! $16.07 for a pie for a child !!..
I ordered 2 toppings $3 bucks. But about 25 cents worth of toppings if that. 4 pepperoni and a Sprinkle of olives. Butter crust should be free for a pie that small..75 cents ..I absolutely had no problem paying extra but for what you get, it's a crime
Customer service is ?.. front desk lady had a serious attitude. And the women who brought my pizza out saw the look on my face and told me next time order the small..
The pizza was good , seasoned tomatoes and nice amount if cheese, but not 16 dollars good.
NEVER AGAIN!!!
