Good for fast food, this seems to be the area equivalent of in-n-out. Retro decor inside with lots of hanging metal signs, pretty neat! I had a Chicago dog and wasn't disappointed. Was it the best hotdog that I've ever had? not even close... But for the price and experience I'd say it was well worth the trip.

Went today 4/18/24 at 2pm Hispanic guy with tattos in arm in drive thruu window was very rude he tried to act like he knew me and was trying to say hi in a very gangster way thru the window he said wasup wasup folks and then ran away from the window to go hide. Very unprofessional i will not be back here again. While the girl giving me my order never even said anything

I was in Chicago for work and Portillos and the Big Beef was recommended. It was very good and if I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back. I will have to try the Hot Dogs next time since I love Hot Dogs.

Other than the order taker in the lot that I dealt with having the personalit of a border patrol agent it was a great experience. Portillo's consistently serves great good in a timely manner even when busy.

They screwed up my order, I waited 15 minutes to get my food then they forgot to give me a chopped salad I ordered them I had to go back to the counter to ask for my dressing they forgot to add and then the fries were old and had too much salt that I couldn't eat them and had to go to the counter to get new fries and had to wait , not a good experience
