Last time I had sushi was well over 15 years ago. Times change, appetite, and eating habits change so here I am. My wife enjoys sushi and has been here a few times and enjoys their rolls. I do enjoy food in the teriyaki family and I get this fix at a few other restaurants in town. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and it was strange being back in the former Peapod restaurant location. We ordered the crab ragoon, gyoza, chicken teriyaki roll, scorpion roll, Godzilla roll, and the beef teriyaki entree. Both appetizers were good but pretty standard. I tried a few rolls and it's still not for me. I believe the seaweed wrap is what I don't like. The filling is good though. My wife enjoyed every bite of it. The beef teriyaki comes with salad, rice, and miso soup. I don't particularly like miso soup but this one was slightly different in a good way. I enjoyed the simple salad as well. Now when I ordered the beef I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which is not unusual. When I received the beef it was too blue in my opinion. I'll eat beef anyway outside of raw but typically I like my beef medium. The sauce and vegetables were good and I still ate the beef. For drinks I stuck with water but my wife had a mango smoothie that was quite tasty. The employees were attentive and definitely hustling so I appreciate that. I would go back and get the chicken teriyaki (hopefully it's not pink) and let my wife enjoy the sushi rolls. 4 stars because everyone I know that has come here for the sushi raves about it.

Best crab Rangoon I ever had. A delish roll that was filling with yellow tail, tuna, and salmon. Our waitress, Michelle, was very kind and sweet and helpful with the menu. Definitely going back soon. It was decorated with clean modern art work. I loved the soft purple lightijn

A fabulous experience both times I have eaten here. The sushi is very fresh and the rolls are unique - so delicious! The server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We also had the sake flight and a few mochi ice cream flavors for dessert which was the perfect way to round out our meal. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and clean as well.

Absolutely amazing! From the rolls to the cocktails, everything is made perfectly. The balance of the different flavors are spot on! Some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had, light and crispy, slightly sweet and delicious! Even the napkins on the tables are a good quality heavy napkin. It's clear they care a lot about the quality of everything down to the smallest details. My only complaint is I was stuffed and a couple dozen more rolls looked delicious! 100% will be a regular here. Amazing job, keep it up!

This place is amazing! The flavors are delicious and the menu has a wide variety of options. The sushi is beautifully plated and so tasty! It is fresh and flavorful. My favorite rolls were the spicy crispy tuna roll, magic salmon roll, and sweetheart roll. We will be back!

So, so good! Really fresh, great lunch specials and a really nice atmosphere it's just what Elk Grove needed. Best sushi I've had in a long time. I had a sushi lunch special which includes 2 rolls of many to choose from and my mom had the shrimp tempura bento box. We both had leftovers. Mine was 13$ and hers was 15$.

I stopped here early on Monday for lunch, shortly after it had opened, so it was not busy at all. As others have mentioned, they offer some lunch specials, but I decided I wanted to try their ramen and one roll of sushi. That way I could get an idea of how they compare with both the places I go to for ramen, as well as the sushi places. The spicy miso ramen was tasty, although I didn't care for the pork pieces. The "supersonic " roll I ordered was also good. Next time I'm here, I'll try one of the sashimi/sushi lunch specials (with basic rolls and sashimi) and then I'll really get a tasting of their sushi freshness and taste. The service was prompt and friendly, the place is very nice inside, and even without the specials, I found their pricing reasonable. I recommend.
