Amazing stop for lunch! It is a beautiful cafe with cozy vibes and delicious and affordable food! We ate the delicious sandwiches and the tomato basil soup, with a chocolate cherry cake as a dessert. We loved it! We will go back

If you’re in the area, this place will warmly welcome you and leave you satisfied. I had the special, St. Patrick’s Day corned beef meal, and couldn’t resist finishing with the cherry crisp pie. Both were fantastic!

This is the stop you need when you're on a long road trip and can't take anymore fast food. This quaint shop, packed full of antiques and curiosities, has some of the best, handmade soups and sandwiches. The tomato basil soup was delicious! And the staff are the friendliest you'll find. We try to make this our lunch stop when traveling between St. Louis and Chicago.

Wild Hare Cafe is truly a hidden gem! We had the stuffed pepper soup, quiche, salads and coconut cream pie. All wonderful! The owners and staff were so attentive and friendly. A great stop not far from the interstate and along Route 66 for a homemade meal and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return!

The previous reviews really are accurate. This is a gem, a unique cafe within The Horsefeathers Antique shop. Whimsical first rate paintings adorn the walls, beautiful wood glowing, candles.
The food is good, the prices are accommodating. The service is good, and Pete and Andrea are always around for a quick check on their customers.
Vegetarian options: Salads, quiche, and an excellent array of salads and soups
Wheelchair accessibility: Two ground level doors, large entryway.

We just love this place. It is a central meeting place for my grown kids and I, since we live in different parts of Ilinois. There is so much to see, antiques and more modern details. The food is excellent! Great menu to suit everyone. Each dessert is topped with a little rabbit-shaped sugar cookie!
