Currently the tavern is transformed into "Spooky Tavern". They did a good job, ambiance was great. My 13 & 10 year old daughters loved it. The food was excellent. The "Octoburger" was great, as were the fries, onion rings, and garlic knots appetizer. The biggest winner was the pizza, which my 10yo ordered. Holds its own with any of the best Chicagoland tavern style pizzas. It was Bingo Night, which drew a full house of locals. Nice people, top notch food....
$7 smash burger with fries and $10 double ? You can’t find that anywhere these days. I was surprised by how good their smash burger was. One of the best ones I’ve had. Great food and great prices.
