Food is mediocre AT BEST.
Prices are very high. They have a nice outdoor picnic area. We go there for my wife's sentimental attachment to the old days. It's definitely not for the food.

Ordered takeout. My family absolutely loved the brisket sandwich and the ribs. “That meat is delicious!” Was my first but definitely not my last visit!

Russell's has been a family favorite for a couple of generations. Trouble is that none of us ever get anything but bbq beef and bbq pork sandwiches which are always excellent and the unique sauce goes perfectly. I don't know about any other items, but the sandwiches are great!

Russell’s BBQ has been part of my life since before I could walk, and my family has been coming here for generations. I still sit in the very same booths my grandparents and parents once did, and the nostalgia is every bit as good as the food. The ribs and sauce are timeless, the cole slaw has a fresh and amazing vinegar base, and even vegetarians are covered with a surprisingly tasty veggie burger. This place is a true Elmwood Park landmark—classic, consistent, and full of memories.

It was very yummy. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and cole slaw. They give you a bottle of warm BBQ sauce with your food, too.

I eat here about once a year...I ate here with my parents and my grandparents...a family thing...I liked family dinners I have moved yet I love to feed people.. I have cooked holiday family dinners and game day dinners my local BBQ Joint in NC doesn't Compare to your kitchen or mine...I've moved on and so far in Tennessee the food is iffy food poisoning at the Flying Saucer Don't eat there in Memphis. Russell's always does it's best a big Thankyou...

It's old school and honestly I like old school. it's simple, it takes me back to my childhood. I'm excited to know this place is still going strong shop locally, support your local restaurants.

This is my very first time here at Russell’s barbecue & a very nice young lady by the name of Kelly waited on me. She even helped me decide on my meal which I settled on an order of rib tips which were delicious and when it came to dessert I had the Italian ice watermelon 🍉 flavor it was amazing‼️ Thank you Kelly for going above and beyond‼️ You are really good at what you do when ur comes to customer service‼️ All the best to you and God bless you in all your endeavors‼️🙏

Russell’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Ben are very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing ribs. Must come back. 10/10.

Great family owned business

i eat there and got sick for a week. i think chicken was under cooked.

The barbecued beef sandwich pulled pork ribs the best I've ever had in my life. If I could eat here everyday I would beyond fabulous!
