Wonderful experience for our family. We have been at Donny G's a hand full of times for different occasions and their service is always superb. All the dishes were amazingigly scrumptious. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Donny G’s is the best. The calamari is so good as is the Greek salad and just about everything they serve. We recently had a party in their side room and the food was absolutely delicious and the service top notch. They took such care and careful attention to our celiac gluten allergies to make sure those guests had properly prepared safe and delicious food. Between the always friendly attentive service and the amazing food, this is most definitely the best restaurant in this area of Chicago.

Met a friend for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Very friendly staff, even the valet guy was extremely friendly. Ambience is old school Italian. Even the clientele was old school Italian. The food was very good. My friend ordered their lasagne with a meatball side. Their sauce was very tasty, not too sweet. His mozzarella topping was a bit salty, but overall he really liked his dish. I had the Chicken Piccata, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Our server was very attentive, but not too much where they were overzealous. All in all it was a good experience.

The food was great, and I had the chicken parm, chicken marsala, and side of aglio e olio Penne pasta. Food portions are plenty and can always count on taking food home. We love that. The French martinis are a hit or miss, but always order it anyway. The food service was a bit slow, but the staff is always friendly. Surprisingly, the manager gave us an appetizer for the wait. Thank you.

I went on a Saturday night and the place is a trip. It's like something out of Goodfellas. Food is decent and service is good but there is some very unusual old school Italian entertainment.

One of the best Italian restaurants left in the city of Chicago! Doesn't matter what you order on the Menu, it's all amazing! The lamb chops are a personal favorite! Weekend live music is also something to enjoy with dinner too.
