Family of 8 visited the restaurant on 10/19/2025 at 2:00 pm front desk hostess told that reservations are recommended. I told her that I was not informed. I’ve lived in EP for over 26 yrs and have frequent Barraco’s on many occasions.
The place was empty so her rudeness was completely not welcomed or necessary. As an African American she not once made eye contact, which was also rude.
Thank God for the very professional and nice waitress who served us , which broke the ice.
EP has always been a place for everyone!
I will always support the establishments of EP.
Racist is a dark place that need to be eradicated!

It is bad service, they are racist, they treat people badly for not knowing English, it doesn't seem right to me that because I am Latino they kicked me out of the restaurant and they didn't let me eat there and they kicked me out of the establishment
Went there on the 9-20-2025, went there with three people, we were waiting to be seated for about 15 minutes. Two servers came up and said someone wll be with you. No one came, so I went to the bar side and the bartender was friendly and I told him there was customers in the front. He said ok I will get someone. Then a person came and said there was going to be a 1:30 wait ant there was not them people in there. So I asked could we seat at the bar. She said it was full it was open seats there it was only about 8 people seating at the bar and all the booth was open. We felt it was the color of our skin that we wasn’t seated. We are African American we felt offended and well never patronized this restaurant every again!

Grace the manager @ 95th St Oak Lawn was rude and seemed racist as she sat everyone but the minority, from the moment we arrived. SHE IS UNPROFESSIONAL! I never had an issue at this location until last night. I rarely give bad reviews until it is necessary. I won't be returning.
